GREAT food friendly staff
Great food and staff always friendly.
Every meal I've enjoyed at this hotel has been expertly prepared and superbly presented. The menu is extensive and there is always something new and delicious on the specials board. I don't think I'll ever tire of having dinner or lunch at the Matian Railway Hotel.
So disappointed having been given a great wrap by friends. Ordered the Rib Fillet medium, it was well overdone, dry and not pleasant to eat at all. Mushroom sauce was nothing short of a thin gravy with mushrooms in it. I ended up leaving half the meal on the plate. Friends I was dining with ordered the Barra and we're equally disappointed saying "it's alright if you are hungry". Really disappointed considering we travelled out to Marian just to eat here.
